RUNAWAY LOVE
Eight youngsters in an environment that deprived them of the freedom to choose who to marry. Four stories about people hopelessly in love - a love that triumphed in the face of severe parental disapproval and considerable adversity. The stories have a common thread. It begins with parents trying to cajole the lovelorn youngsters into making a clean break with the "unsuitable match." When such entreaties fail, they try to bully them into submission. Some go as far as resorting to force to save th e "family honour". Goons are requisitioned and, in one case, the `assistance' of `friendly police officers' is sought.
