Punjab on a platter

PUNJABI FOOD needs no introduction to Chennai-ites. And here is another opportunity to savour those delectable dishes right here in the city. Navaratna, the Indian cuisine restaurant at Le Royal Meridien is holding a Punjabi food festival-`Sher-e-Punjab' from August 15 to 24.

The food festival offers an interesting feast of numerous Punjabi receipes. Starters include mausam da ras, shikanjvi matha, kanjee, Gajar to tamatar de shorba, kale cholayen di rassa and kukad da shorba among others.

Multani, tikkey, lahori seekh cholia the khumbwali, bharme aloo pothohari, tikkyan rajmah diyan, tandoori jheenga, amristari machi, bhatti da murgh, murgh tikka kandahari, peshwari talley murgay are some of the highlights of the menu.
