Salman sports a different look
Salman Khan in "Tere Naam"
IT MAY sound stranger than any Bollwood story, but Salman Khan's latest film "Tere Naam" is being promoted by its producer and distributors as "inspired by the most controversial love affair of the film industry!" Obviously, the trade wants to cash in on the private life of the actor and his blow-hot-blow-cold relationship with Aishwarya Rai.
However, the truth is that this Satish Kaushik-directed film is a remake of the Tamil film "Sethu" which made a star out of its hero, Vikram. In the film, Salman plays Radhey, a rebel in an Uttar Pradesh small town. He sports two looks long locks with blue streaks in the first half and a clean-shaven pate in the second half!
In fact, Salman, while speaking on "Tere Naam" at a promotional party, said: "Give me a break. The film is the remake of a Tamil film and has nothing to do with my personal life. Do you think I would like my private life immortalised on screen?"
