R.A. PURAM: Course on beauty therapy

THE INSTITUTE for Body and Beauty, a unit of Sanjeevani Yoga Ayurveda Foundation Private Limited, is conducting a one-year diploma course in massage therapy and beauty culture. Many institutions offer beauty courses but massage therapy is usually not on the curriculum. This institute aims to impart it with complete professionalism.

Persons with a higher secondary education are eligible to apply for the course, which covers the various types of basic massages in the Ayurvedic and naturopathy traditions. Asanas, to cure various ailments, is also taught. The course concentrates on herbal beauty and skin care, yoga and Ayurveda.

Students who finish the course can either join an established salon or can set up alternative medical care centre of their own, claims the institute. Hostel facilities are available for girls.

The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the institute at 11/55 Greenways Road, Inside Music College Arch Entry, R.A. Puram, on payment of Rs. 250 by demand draft or in cash. For details call 24951234 or 24933365.
