Amethyst's summer collection showcases the creations of both well known and amateur designers from across the country

CLASSICISM, ELEGANT lines and attention to detail are the hallmark of Amethyst's recently unveiled summer designerwear collection. It is a fusion of fine textures from artisans across India, embellished with minimal touches of embroidery and pintucks. Showcased are designers such as Purnima Jain, Weavers Studio, Kannish Bhargava, Jason Cherian and Avadh as well as up and coming designers such as Joy and Sandeep Mahajan. Be it the Shibori kurta or chiffon embriodered or chikan work tops, the results are dazzling.
While Haveli focuses on earthy tones and is a celebration of Indian weaves there are other ensembles which are inspired by styles from the Far East and Central Asia.
The floral chiffon blouses and tops, some of them with a sprinkling of roses and forget-me-nots add colour to the collection. A line of silk and linen trousers in rainbow hues is another attraction.
Ethereal scarves by Rehwa, Neeru Kumar and Weavers Studio complement the collection. For sari lovers, there are vegetable dyed cotton saris in mellow colours with ethnic motifs, especially woven by Creative Bee.
