THE STORYTELLER is getting ready to be part of someone else's story. From reinventing fairytales to helping children cope with changing times, Joy Fernandes now plays the new generation trying to deal with the fast new lifestyle.
Now that the censor board has finished chopping "Paanch'' it has finally been slotted for release. It is a film that follows the life of a music band that stumbles into the world of crime. Loosely based on a true life incident that happened in Pune, the film is a grim look at the nexus between drugs and music bands.
``It is an intense film and very well shot. Anurag was surprised to see how good the film has turned out to be. It shows drugs are so rampant but it certainly doesn't glorify its use,'' says Fernandes.
The music of the film has recently been released by BMG Crescendo. And the movie is all set to hit theatres soon. For movie buffs who enjoy watching films which stray from the usual formula, "Paanch'' is a must see.
