Log in for thrill

COME ON. Be clear in your choice. Check out for which of the twinkles of Kollywood — Kamal Hassan, Ajit, Vijay or Madhavan — you have a slant.

You could easily be among the 450 winners of free tickets to three new and upcoming Kollywood releases, `Pancha Tanthiram', `Raja' and `Run' or `Youth', by becoming a member of UthHeaven.com, a Madurai-based entertainment web site for youth.

Membership is free, assures its designer and host, S. Shailesh Kumaran, a youth himself in early twenties. All that is expected of the contestants is to register themselves with the web site, log in to its contest zone from July 6 and answer some questions about the movie and the four sponsors and two co-sponsors. Another way of obtaining free coupons is by transacting with the sponsors, at varying discounts.

And the winner, chosen through a lucky draw, in the case of the contest, will be telephonically intimated by Shailesh. In all, the 75 winners could grab two tickets each, through the contest meant to provide a unique weekend entertainment, precisely on Saturdays.

The three contests have a duration of a week each. For Pancha Tanthiram, it is seven days starting from July 6. On July 13, the winners can have free access to the Annamalai threatre, where it is to be screened. Likewise, the second contest for the Ajit-starrer, `Raja', would commence on July 13.

The 75 winners, in this case, would be given a red carpet welcome at the Abirami theatre, on July 20. The venue of the third contest would be announced to the net surfers in due course. One thing is for sure. The third screening is on July 27.

But wait. There is no cause for hurry. Though the web site was launched a year ago, it is all set for relaunch with a bang, with the `UthHeaven Movie Contest Mania', on July 6.
