THIS IS short and crisply written monograph on the common ailment of headache.
The author, a dental surgeon, has tackled the subject systematically, listing out the many causes of headaches, their spectrum of clinical presentation and their treatment options. The language is simple and wherever necessary, the reader can look up the meaning of the Tamil technical terms used in the glossary appended to the book.
Attractively bound and presented, it is inexpensive. And as Prof. B. Ramamurthi opines in his preface, it is indeed a book useful to the lay reader, to know about this all too common problem.
