THIS BOOK is a compilation of Tamil film lyrics of Pulamaipithan. He started his film career with the song "Nan Yaar Nan Yaar Nee Yaar" for the MGR movie "Kudiyiruntha Koil". Associated with MGR for more than 20 years, he was made the Poet Laureate when MGR was the Chief Minister.
The songs are classified into five categories such as love, affection, sadness, philosophy and general.
