Laos PM to visit India

Hanoi June 12. The Laos Prime Minister, Boungnang Vorachit, will pay an official visit to India from June 15-21 and to Russia from June 22-25, state media said today.

The visits will be made at the invitation of the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, and the Russian Premier, Mikhail Kasyanov, the Vientiane Times said.

Mr. Boungnang is expected to review the implementation of bilateral commerce and finance cooperation agreements signed in November last when Mr. Vajpayee travelled to Laos. — AFP
