Rs. 19.9 cr. for Mascot Hotel upgradation

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM June 12. The Government has sanctioned Rs. 1990.5 lakhs for the upgradation of the Kerala State Tourism Development Corporation's Hotel Mascot in the capital into a five-star deluxe hotel.

All facilities available in modern hotels will be made available in the Hotel Mascot after the upgradation, an official release quoting the Tourism Minister, K. V. Thomas, said.

Once the hotel is upgraded into the five-star deluxe category, it will have five suites, 82 rooms, two shops, tea lounge, bar, banquet hall, board room, business centre, health club, beauty parlour, massage centre, power laundry and bakery.
