Kalam visiting Kancheepuram

KANCHEEPURAM JUNE 12. The President, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, is visiting Kancheepuram on June 19. After arrival earlier in the day in Chennai, he will attend a function at the Sivananda Orphanage, Kattankolathur, and then visit Enathur here, official sources told The Hindu.

After going around the library at the Chandrasekharendra Viswa Maha Vidyalaya (Deemed University), the President would visit the Kanchi Mutt and call on the Sankaracharyas, Jayendra Saraswati and Vijayendra Saraswati.

Later he will fly back to Chennai.
