India clashes with Argentina in opener

Chennai June 12. India takes on Argentina in the opening match of the four-nation Masters hockey tournament at Hamburg on June 27, meets the home team and World champion Germany the next day, and Spain on the final day. The four-nation tourney is to be hosted by the Uhlenhorster Hockey Club in Hamburg.

The schedule: June 27: India v Argentina (8 p.m. IST); Spain v Germany (10-15 p.m.); June 28: Argentina v Spain (6 p.m.); India v Germany (8-30 p.m.); June 29: India v Spain (3-30 p.m.); Germany v Argentina (6 p.m.).
