TOKYO: Poodles, dachshunds and Chihuahuas strutted down the catwalk at a fashion show organised by a Tokyo department store to promote a line of canine costumes with price tags that would have some pet owners howling. Eight dogs modelled looks ranging from practical to casual to formal in the 40-minute show this week at the Mitsukoshi Department Store. Highlights included a canary yellow raincoat at 8,500 yen ($72), a Japanese summer robe at 5,000 yen ($42) and a wedding dress with matching hat at 4,000 yen ($34).
