M. Baba Shankar, Chairman, while addressing presspersons, said, "We conceived the whole concept five years ago and now we are proud to announce its commencement. Specially designed for retired people, it is an ideal solution for those whose children are settled abroad". The Senior Hospitality Institution of the U.S. has certified that it has adhered to the stringent criteria required to achieve international standards. It had also been certified by the CMDA. Spread over 43,000 sq. ft. with a built-up area of about 50,000 sq. ft., the project was developed at a cost of Rs. 4.80 crores. There are also plans to have retirement village for 1,000 people, Mr. Baba Shankar said and added that 15 acres had already been identified. Rajesh B. Shankar, Director, Sales, said having five star standards, it had in all 50 furnished rooms. Security services would be provided round-the clock. Besides, shared facilities include a full-fledged club, a temple, browsing centre, secretarial assistance, lockers and meditation hall. Emergency medical assistance would be provided and ayurvedic and allopathic doctors would be available for consultation. There was reserved car parking and owners may also use the car pool facilities provided by the club.
