Burglars strike at Perambur house

CHENNAI APRIL 14. Thieves broke into a house on Perambur High Road and decamped with seven sovereigns of jewellery and Rs 31,000 in cash on Saturday night.

According to police, the resident, Chandran went out of station leaving his family members at his relative's house. The intruders gained entry into the house by breaking open the rear door. A case has been registered with Otteri police.

Police said they had identified some suspects residing nearby and further investigation is on.
