Homage to Kalpana, Ramamurthy

Pondicherry March 31. All members in Pondicherry Assembly today observed silence for a few minutes after question hour to pay homage to astronaut, Kalpana Chawla, who died in space shuttle disaster recently, and the former Union Minister, Vazhapadi K. Ramamurthy.

After the question time was over, the Speaker, M.D.R. Ramachandran, made obituary references to Kalpana Chawla and Ramamurthy.
