Student drowned, another missing

CHENNAI MARCH 30. A college student was drowned and a search was on for another as they had gone for a swim along with two others on Thiruvanmiyur beach.

Mohammed Fahej (21) and Suhail (22), students of Mohammed Sathak College, had gone to the beach along with Harris and Saleel (22). .

Fahej and Saleel were swept away by a powerful wave. While Fahej's body was washed ashore, a search is on by the Coast Guard for Saleel, studying Aeronautical Engineering.

Police said they stepped into the dangerous stretch, despite a warning put up there.
