Petitions against Kalam dismissed

NEW DELHI DEC. 11. The Supreme Court today dismissed two petitions challenging the election of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as President. A five-judge Constitution Bench imposed a cost of Rs. 25,000 each for the two petitions.
