The Principal of the school, Abraham Ebenezer, said the survey recognised the contribution made by the staff, students, and parents in making it a premier institution in India. The others that made it to the `Top Ten' in Bangalore according to the survey are National Public School, St. Joseph Boys' School, Sacred Heart Girls' School, Mallya Aditi International School, Baldwin Girls' School, Bishop Cotton Girls' School, Vidyaniketan School, Frank Anthony School, and Sri Kumaran School. The Centre for Forecasting and Research conducted the survey in six metros and Chandigarh. Teachers, 632 in all, in each city were asked to evaluate the schools they were familiar with under seven parameters, ranking them on a 10-point scale. The parameters considered include competence of faculty, attention to studies, individual attention to students, sports, extra-curricular activities, teaching moral and social values, and infrastructure and facilities.
