G. Premender Reddy, BJYM national executive committee member and the State in-charge, at a press conference here on Monday asserted that the demonstration by the Minister's son and the MIM support to the families of those killed in encounters following the Dilsukhnagar bomb blast amounted to supporting pro-Pakistan elements. Although Mr. Reddy did not identify the Minister he acknowledged in private conversation that it was N.Md Farooq and the demonstration took place in the Rayalaseema area on Sunday. Mr. Reddy pointed out that while he did not find anything objectionable in the film, it was for the Minister's son to state what he did not find palatable that warranted a demonstration. He alleged that the demonstrators tried to attack a theatre screening the film. He warned that if the Government did not invoke POTA against the Minister's son and Mr. Owaisi, the BJYM would organise a State-wide agitation. Mr. Reddy said the Morcha would organise a campaign to collect 25 lakh signatures, on both cloth and banners, and submit them to the UN Secretary-General seeking declaration of Pakistan as a terrorist State and expelling from the country those supporting pro-Pak terrorists. White paper on CMEY sought: The State Executive Committee of the BJYM which met in Vijayawada on December 7 and 8 has demanded a white paper on the implementation of the CMEY scheme. Releasing the resolutions adopted by the executive, Mr. Premender Reddy demanded an all-party meeting on the scheme. The resolution stated that the white paper should spell out the allocation of funds, number of units set up and closed under the CMEY scheme, employment generated by them and their job potential in two years. By another resolution, the executive reiterated the State BJP view that the EAMCET should be scrapped.
