Paddy purchases

HYDERABAD Dec. 8. The Government agencies and rice millers have purchased 5.12 lakh metric tonnes of paddy under the minimum support price operations in kharif till December 6, the Commissioner, Civil Supplies, has said.

The millers purchased 4.82 lakh metric tonnes of fair average quality of paddy and 28,040 metric tonnes of non-fair average quality, he said in a press release.
