At a function got up here to conduct free marriages, he said "I want to understand my fans first.'' Mr. Vijaykant said one need not enter politics to do good, as he had already been involved in social service. Could he not render better services if he were in politics? "Politics is not that simple as it is made out to be. People will not accept all as their leaders.'' Politicians were cashing in on the caste and communal differences, Mr. Vijaykant said appealing to his fans not to be deceived by ``such designs.'' The Neyveli rally, taken out by actors and directors, seeking release of Cauvery water, had exposed those who had betrayed the cause of the Tamils and he would reveal their names at an appropriate time. He would not mind even quitting the presidentship of the actors' association, Mr. Vijaykant said. The large turnout of fans for the function, he said, had given him the hope that he could convene a conference to discuss on the ``the future course of action.''
