Six killed in accident

MAHABUBNAGAR DEC. 8. Six persons were killed and 12 others injured when the tractor in which they were travelling overturned near Miraspalli village in Mahabubnagar district here today. All victims were proceeding to attend a wedding reception at Natelli village. Among the victims was a woman. According to preliminary information received at the headquarters here, the tractor driver was in the process of avoiding an oncoming lorry but as the vehicle took a sharp turn, it overturned. Three of the victims died on the spot while the rest, on the way to hospital, police said.
