Tension after desecration

JAIPUR DEC. 7. Unidentified miscreants allegedly desecrated an idol in a temple in Monoharpur town, 100 km. from here, triggering tension and prompting the authorities to deploy additional forces to maintain law and order, police said today.

The idol inside the Santoshi Mata temple was found broken by the priest yesterday.
