Parliament adjourned for lack of quorum

NEW DELHI DEC. 5. Both the Houses of Parliament were today adjourned till Monday, much ahead of schedule, because of lack of quorum. The listed non-official bills and resolutions could not be taken up as the requisite number of members were not present in the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. Since tomorrow will be observed as a holiday on account of Id-Ul-Fitr, Parliament will reassemble on December 9.
