Shot dead

SRINAGAR DEC. 5. Militants today gunned down Ghulam Mohiuddin Lone, elder brother of the late Mushtaq Lone, Jammu and Kashmir Law Minister who was assassinated by militants during the election campaign in September last.

Mr. Lone (45) was fired upon by unknown gunmen around 4.45 p.m. when he was coming out of a vehicle outside his ancestral house in Sogam, around 25 km. from here.
