Support pluralism

Sir,— Every right thinking person should strongly condemn the terrorist attack on Raghunath temple. A word of praise is not out of place to our security personnel who successfully flushed out the terrorists from the temple.

What is sickening is that when Muslim terrorists attack Hindu temples and the devotees, Muslim organisations keep silent as if nothing has happened. Similarly when Gujarat was burning and the Hindu fanatics were spearheading and targeting Muslims, no Hindu organisation including the ruling BJP bothered to condemn the carnage. This trend is an insult to the secular and pluralistic polity of our nation.

H. Ghouse Baig,

Tiruchi, T.N.
