People take to streets in Jammu

Jammu Dec. 4. Tension prevailed in some parts of Jammu today with people taking to the streets protesting the failure of police to nab the gangsters responsible for spreading terror on the city outskirts. The mysterious group of gangsters, "kale kachewale," is suspected to have carried out several robberies in the last three months.

On Tuesday, the gang allegedly killed three members of a retired BSF officer's family and seriously injured two near the airport. Police said one of the criminals was also injured in the attack. However, his accomplices picked him up and fled.
