Speaking to The Hindu, he said this formed part of its high growth plans for the next two years when it expected to emerge as a Rs. 100 crore company from a Rs. 21 crore turnover last year. It manufactures electronic components finding applications in three areas V-SAT, basic and cellular communication, defence applications and space applications. It is on the verge of tying up a Rs. 70 crore order from Bharat Electricals (BEL) for supply of `microwave portions' of `radars', spread over the next two years. It has Rs. 4.50 crores worth of orders for supply of components for electronic warfare systems and expects to do Rs. 10 crores in this segment. Oak Brook Technologies has implemented the SAP version 4.7, in a record time of three and a half months for Astra. Ramesh Kodali, President, Oak Brook, said this was the first site to go live in India. Oak Brook is one of the 10-12 `active' implementation partners of SAP in India, and has created `centres of excellence' in pharma and chemicals, textiles, and engineering. By this month-end, it expects to sign contracts with five more clients for implementing SAP's latest version. This includes two companies in Hyderabad and three in the western region. Last year, it implemented seven projects and expects to do 15 projects this year, he said.
