Water board steps for Bakrid

HYDERABAD Feb. 11. The Hyderabad Metroplitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has directed all its chief general managers and general managers to ensure proper distribution of water for all areas on account of `Bakrid' on Wednesday. If the piped water supply cannot be maintained tankers should be pressed into service, according to a press release.

Meanwhile, the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) has ordered the closure of all beef slaughterhouses and retail beef shops within the limits of MCH on February 12 and 13 on account of Bakrid.
