Anuja shocks Sanchi

MUMBAI FEB. 11. Anuja Parikh of Maharashtra stunned Statemate and sixth seed Sanchi Ganerwal 6-1, 6-4 in the girls' under-18 pre-quarterfinals match on the opening day of the Rs 1.5 lakh South African Airways all-India super tennis tournament at the Garden Tennis Academy courts.

Meanwhile, Rahil Makharia sent out seventh-seeded Marlon Coelho in four sets for the second surprise result in the boys' under-18 category on Tuesday. Top seeds Saurabh Koli and Krushmi Chedda advanced into the quarterfinals without much difficulty.
