Canfina to discontinue NBFC activity

MUMBAI: Canbank Financial Services (Canfina), a wholly owned subsidiary of Canara Bank, is to discontinue its non-banking finance business. "Canfina does not propose to continue with NBFC activity and had requested the Reserve Bank of India to allow it to withdraw application for registration," Canara Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
