Alcohol dealer shot dead in J&K

SRINAGAR JAN. 6. Executing its diktat banning "un-Islamic" sale of addictives, militants today shot dead an alcohol dealer here.

Militants shot at Abdul Hamid Sheikh, who had a shop at Aloocha Bagh, at Solina in Civil Lines area, official sources said. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead. — PTI
