Labour law reforms flayed

By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Jan. 6. The CITU State general secretary, P. K. Gurudasan, has alleged that the Government's efforts at labour law reforms were aimed at appeasing multinational monopolies.

In a statement here today, the CITU leader pointed out that the Government had included amendments to labour laws also in the agenda for the Global Investor Meet. Among the amendments proposed was one to the Industrial Dispute Act of 1947. The working class would defeat all such efforts, he added.
