Vijaya Bank's new insurance scheme

CHENNAI: Vijaya Bank has introduced a life insurance scheme, Vijaya Raksha, to all its existing and new savings bank, current account and term deposit customers. It has tied up with Life Insurance Corporation of India under the group insurance scheme. The premium payable by the deposit holders in the age group of 18 and 44½ is Rs. 325 per annum and for those in the age group of 44½ and 54½ is Rs. 575. The sum assured for natural death is Rs. 1 lakh and for accidental death Rs. 2 lakhs, according to a release.
