Helvitica boutique gets Omega recognition
By Our Corporate Reporter
CHENNAI, APRIL 7. The Helvetica house which sells and services
all brands of watches in Splenzer Plaza, Chennai gets world
service emblem, a recognition given by Omega watches to select
service centres. Mr. Dominique Wilde, Chief Technical Adviser,
World Service Organisation, Omega Watches, who was at Helvetica
House here, said the service recognition was given after a
rigorous evaluation of customer care, stocking of spare parts,
latest tools and equipment, computerisation levels, quality check
practices and technical work standards.
Among the 14 service centres of Omega in the country today, only
three have got this recognition emblem of which two are in Delhi,
the third being Helvetica, he said. Helvetica also had been
designated the technical training centre for South India, by
Omega Watches, he said.
Promoted by Mr. Ashok Doshi, the boutique showcases the whole
range of premium swiss watch brands including Chopard, Piaget,
Cartier, Longines, Rado and other leading brands. The initial
investment for creating this high tech service centre would be in
the range of Rs. 15-18 lakhs and hopes to break-even the cost in
about two years.
